Victor Abellan taking a Dentis (Italy) or Dorada (Spain) at 25m (82ft) of the Islands of Spain. You will see that he is fishing “a la espera” which is a technique of staying motionless on the bottom and waiting for fish to come to him. You may also notice that he is wearing an additional weight vest with extra weight to assist in keeping him immobile on the seafloor. Especially since he is wearing such a thick cold water suite.
