Alberto Rodriguez Huelva hunting a nice Mediterranean Grouper (Mero). Alberto is shooting all of this video with a camera attached to his gun, so no additional camera man. Something else to make note of is the red Polo Sub wetsuit and the red on his gun. Since red light doesn’t penetrate much deeper than 10 meters (33 feet) it turns into a shade of greenish-brown which makes for a nice camouflage under water, but relatively high visibility at the surface.

Summary:
Victor Abellan shoots a Mero (Grouper) at 27 meters (89ft) but the fight doesn’t stop there. He has returns several times for a battle with the holed up monster at 28m (92ft). But the 20kg (44lb) Mero is well worth it! Victor is using one of his own custom made guns which are very bulky, but very precise. You will see him using them throughout all of his videos on this site.
