SpearoTek's stainless steel inserts allow a diver to quickly replace a worn Dyneema wishbone without re-tying their bands. The process is very simple and can easily be done at sea whereas with conventional plastic wishbone inserts the diver must cut the band apart, insert the wishbone, and re-tie the bands; a task more suited for the workshop than the boat deck. Divers will quickly realize the cost benefits of using SpearoTek's wishbone inserts since a small length of Dyneema is all that is necessary to repair a worn wishbone and can be had at a fraction of the price of conventional plastic wishbone inserts.
