New Video Tuesdays
Last month we had quite a big showing from the cold, fresh water lakes of Wisconsin with Wisconsin Speargun Hunters at the Outlet, Freeze-A-Palooza 2008, Wisconsin Memorial Weekend Spearfishing, and Spearfishing Carp Lake Mono. We also witnessed an act of determination in Whatever It Takes, and a detailed "how to" video tutorial demonstrating the installation of a reel on a banded gun.

C4 "Mr. Carbon" Spearguns now available in the US for the first time! As of the writing of this email they are only available at one retailer in the US: SpearfishingWorld.com out of Miami, FL. C4 Mr. Carbon spearguns are now available in the US! The C4 Mr. Carbon is nothing short of a masterpiece. Engineering and design that makes you drool... lightweight, easy to maneuver, very streamlined and rigid; all while maintaining excellent balance and stability. Great attention has been put into every single detail on this elite speargun.
All C4 Mr. Carbon Spearguns include reel without line. The reel is manufactured of reinforced nylon with a capacity of 55 mtrs/180 ft. Extremely fast and light. This speargun also comes equipped with a Spetton carrying bag, Demka 6.5 mm notched shaft, Demka 18 mm bands with an Anemos articulated wishbone, and a kit for adaptation of the handle. NOTE: The Mr. Carbon guns are shipping from C4 without bands, line, shaft, and accessories. The US Distributor, Spetton, is adding the rigging and accessories as outlined above.
Available in sizes: 104 cm, 119 cm, 94 cm, & 79 cm.

HammerHead Spearguns has become the US Distributor for the Immersion Dive Computers. They have begun distributing the Immersion Prowler Freedive Computer.
The Immersion Prowler is a data logger, dive computer, and full-featured watch, all in a 200m (660ft) water-resistant housing. Both Freedive and Dive modes as well as many standard watch features. Battery life indicator and configurable sleep mode (nice feature: allows for maximizing battery life when not in use). Logs: Total dive time, Maximum depth, Actual depth, Minimum temperature, Date and time of the dive, and Submerged descent speed.
