2mm Camo 2-piece suit too warm for tropical waters?
Question:
Hey, i was wondering if a 2mm Camo 2 piece suit, would be too much for tropical waters, the water is warm and so is the air, a lot of humidity. I was leaning towards a rash guard, but i find that its too thin for any protection, other than the sun.
Answer:
The main thing to know is the temperature of the water. You will not need this wetsuit in water warmer than 80F degrees. In the upper 70F degrees, it will be useful, specially if you are spending long periods in the water. In the lower 70’s it will be needed, or you might even look at a 3.5mm. Even in warm waters, you should always use protection from sun, abrasions and sealife.
